Clinical Risk Management

This course focuses on the suicide detection and crisis intervention and the important assessment procedures considered in risk management. The main objective will be to increase and develop the student’s ability to respond to client in crisis. The course will also develop the student’s abilities in risk assessment, specifically, focusing on interpersonal behaviors, reactions, and intervention strategies. Specific suicide intervention and assessment criteria will be reviewed, including etiology, phenomenology, and risk factors.
