Dr. Skrade Appointed to State Committee of Psychologists
Forest President, Dr. Mark Skrade, was appointed to the State Committee of Psychologists by Governor Matt Blunt on Friday, October 31. Each member of the eight-person committee is selected by the governor and serves 5 years.
The mission statement of the committee states that this group "protects the public from incompetence, misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, misrepesentation or dishonesty; licenses only 'qualified' professionals by examination and evaluation of minimum competency; enforces standards by implementing legislation and adminstrative rules; and encourages economic development and partnerships with existing small businesses."
