Mandy McCorkindale Sworn in to USAF

Forest student Mandy McCorkindale was sworn in as an officer in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.  She is now officially active duty and will complete her internship with the USAF beginning June 29.  She was sworn in by Col. Dan Allen (retired) and Sgt. Michael McWhorter, recruiter, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Harrison, Ark., with friends and family present for the small ceremony.
