Group for Families with a Chronically Ill Member

The Robert J. Murney Clinic in Springfield, Missouri is now offering a new Chronic Illness Group! This group is designed to meet the needs of family members with a relative diagnosed with a chronic illness. Throughout the group topics such as communication with the family, coping strategies, personal care and assertive skills will be covered. Additionally, participants will receive support from others going through similar experiences. Participation in this group is absolutely free!

The group will be offered through two different time frames. A weekend course is available on Friday, March 19th from 9:30 to 4:30 and continues on Saturday, March 20th from 9:30 to noon. A weeknight course is available for six weeks on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning April 7th through May 12th.
