NAMI Event Successful at the Robert J. Murney Clinic

On May 9, eleven students joined faculty and staff volunteers on the lawn of the Murney Clinic in support of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Post-Walk Barbeque.  There were approximately 150 mental health consumers and advocates that enjoyed a great barbeque meal served by volunteers from the clinic and the school. Along with the great food, awards were given as well as free massages from a local masseuse and tickets to a local sporting event. This year was the most attended NAMI Post-Walk event since the Murney Clinic began supporting the fund raising activity four years ago.
