Murney Clinic receives Community Partner Award

At Southwest Missouri's National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) annual banquet, The Robert J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute received a Community Partner Award. The award recognizes the high value NAMI places on the efforts those at our clinic have made to help advocate for mental illness and promote NAMI. For example, the clinic hosts a post walk cook out for NAMI's Miles for Minds fund rasing event each year. Dr. Bill Robison and wife, Drs. AnnElise Parkhurst and Keiser, Dr. Diane Ellis and husband, and Dr. Robert King represented Forest Institute and the Murney Clinic at the annual banquet. Dr. King accepted the award on behalf of the tireless work of faculty, students and support staff who have supported cooperative efforts with NAMI spanning many years.
