Dr. Ellis Presented at Missouri Bar Solo & Small Firm Conference
Murney Clinic Staff Psychologist, Diane M. Ellis, Psy.D., MBA, presented three programs on quality of life issues at the 14
th Annual Missouri Bar Solo and Small Firm Conference. The conference, which is tailored to the needs of lawyers who practice alone or in small practice settings, was held June 11 through 13, 2009, at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach.
Dr. Ellis was invited to speak on the following topics: How to Avoid the Avalanche by Finding Time to Be More Productive; How to Reclaim Your Enthusiasm for Practicing law: Stress Management for Stressful Times; and Creating a Road Map for Your Future: How to Become the Lawyer You Aspired to Be.

Prior to her career as a psychologist, Dr. Ellis worked with lawyers in both
Arizona and
Missouri for more than 20 years in several capacities. Her career in the legal field included directing programs for the State Bar of Arizona that provided legal management consulting, as well as services to assist lawyers impaired by substance misuse or mental health issues. After relocating to
Missouri in 2003, Dr. Ellis formed a corporation that provided legal management consulting for lawyers in
Missouri and surrounding states.
