Dr. Michael Lambert to Present CE Sessions for Faculty

Forest faculty members will have the opportunity to receive continuing education credits on December 5.  Dr. Michael Lambert, professor from Brigham Young University, will present two sessions.  The morning session is titled "Transitioning from Intuitive Psychotherapy, and Evidence-Based Practice, to Practice-Based Evidence".  The afternoon session is titled "What is Meant by Empirically Supported Treatment and How We Can Be More Responsive Psychotherapists".

The morning session, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, focuses on producing viable research results and putting those results in to practice.  The afternoon session, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., focuses on the use of clinical decision support tools in psychotherapy.

These continuing education sessions are free and award a total of five CE credits.  The sessions are required of core faculty members.  Adjunct faculty are encouraged to attend. These sessions have been arranged so that faculty members can participate in both the continuing education sessions and Admissions' Interview Day.

Registration materials for both sessions are attached.
