Workshop to be Offered About the Effects of Chronic Illness on Relationships

The Center for Continuing Education at Forest Institute will present a workshop on Friday, December 12, titled "Chronic Illness and the Couple's Intimate Relationship".  Kristina S. Brown, PhD, LMFT, will discuss the impact of a chronic illness on a couple's intimate relationship and the ways in which the well partner is impacted.  Therapeutic strategies and coping skills to be used with couples with chronic illness and who are struggling with their intimate relationship will be provided.  Information is based on research the presenter did on Endometriosis.

The workshop will be held at the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.  Two Continuing Education credits are offered for participants who attend the entire session.  More information and the registration sheet are attached.
