The following online databases provide access to journal articles, books, book chapters, dissertations and other publications in the scholarly literature.

PLEASE NOTE: Except for EBSCOHost, all library subscribed databases can ONLY BE ACCESSED ON CAMPUS. Publicly Available Databases are accessible both on and off campus.

Description:
Contains high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. It includes reliable evidence from Cochrane and other systematic reviews, clinical trials, and other sources.

Lexis-Nexis Academic NEW!
Description: Provides access to full-text documents from over 6,000 news, business, and legal publications

NewsBank NEW!
Description: Full text of both nationwide and Missouri newspapers (among them Kansas City Star , St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Springfield News-Leader ).

PEP Psychoanalytic Literature Search (via publisher website) NEW!
Description: Provides access to peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles from the field of psychoanalysis. PEP Archive (1886-2003) contains the full text of 20 principal psychoanalytic journals and more than 40 classic psychoanalytic books dating as far back as 1920. PEP Current (2004 to date) accesses the current content of 17 psychoanalytic journals.

ProQuest Psychology Journals NEW!
Description: Provides abstracts and indexing for more than 615 psychology journal titles, with over 520 titles available in full text. Also includes 4,000 full text dissertations (2000-2005) representing a range of psychology disciplines.

ProQuest Social Science Journals NEW!
Description: Provides accss to information on social science topics from over 530 journal titles, with more than 300 available in full text. Coverage is from 1994 to present.

STAT!Ref Online Medical Database NEW!
Note: One simultaneous user license.
