Tests/Instruments
|
The Library maintains a varied collection of print and computer-based assessment materials in its psychological test collection which supports both academic and practicum requirements. Assessment resources include but are not limited to cognitive, personality, and neurobehavioral measures. Test materials can be used only by Forest students, faculty and staff. As a result, some tests may not appear in the Forest Library Catalog. Test interpretative manuals may appear in our SWAN Library Catalog (in a few cases, the materials circulate).
Consult our Forest test inventory lists to determine where the materials are located on the Springfield campus (filing cabinets or Neuro Cabinet or the Clinic). Please ask for assistance at the Library Front Desk since these cabinets are kept locked.

Search for books about specific tests by searching by test acronym, test keyword, subject heading for test (or a broader topical subject heading).

To find out if Forest has a test in its test collection, please consult the list of tests available in the filing cabinets, Neuro Cabinet or the Clinic's list. All lists are also available in print format on top of test cabinets in the Library on the Springfield campus. Test kits and scoring sheets owned by the Library will either be in the filing cabinets, standing cabinets or in the Library front office. |

Searching Tips: To find studies using a test, combine your search query with MeSH terms such as Questionnaires; Mass Screening; Psychological Tests; Neuropsychological Tests; Psychiatric Status Rating Scales. Or use the MeSH subheadings, Methods, Therapy or Psychology under MeSH terms for a disorder, therapy type or emotion (respectively). Other strategies include combining your search query with keywords such as (scale* or inventory or inventories or questionnaire* or instrument* or screen*).
