Area Libraries
Forest faculty, staff and students are allowed to visit or check out books onsite from any library in the SWAN or MOBIUS consortium as long as you present a current, valid campus-issued ID and you have an active library patron record.
Detailed below are the pertinent library privileges for MSU's Meyer Library and Springfield-Greene County's Library.

Visitors will need to use a parking permit or a parking meter. Daily permits can be obtained at the Transit Operations Center at 700 East Elm from 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday (at other times, from the Department of Safety and Transportation at 744 East Cherry). |

| Circulation Privileges |
Present your campus-issued ID to the Circulation Desk Staff. Be aware that if you have outstanding fines or your library patron record has expired, you will not be able to check out materials from the Library. |
| Use of Electronic Resources |
Any student from another institution should inform the librarian at the Reference Desk that they are doing research for a paper and would like to use a library database. The librarian will then log you in to a workstation so that you can do research. This is a new policy as of May 2009. All library workstations now require a current MSU ID sign-on to access library resources. |

| Private Study Rooms |
The Library Center offers 4 private study rooms and small conference rooms seating from 4-8 individuals. You don’t have to make reservations; however it is recommended. A library card is not required, but you may be asked for some form of ID. For more information call (417) 874-8110. |

Request a SGCL book via MOBIUS. Videos & DVDs are not requestable. You must have a SGCL card in order to check out videos & DVDs (you have to be onsite to check them out). |

Forest students are allowed to use SGCL’s electronic resources onsite at any one of their library sites You can access their databases remotely if you have a SGCL card PLEASE NOTE: The Forest Library has access to the same databases (however we do not link to those resources that are aimed at the K-12 audience). |
