The Summer 2012 Forest Blood Drive had 11 participants, of which seven were able to donate.  This met the goal of four set by Community Blood Center of the Ozarks for its summer visit to campus.  CBCO says blood is needed more in the summer than almost any other time of year.  As of the time of the blood drive, CBCO said it was on a "code yellow alert" for blood, meaning the supply was running low.

Out of those who participated the following won $25 Visa gift cards:  Josie Balanowski, Leandra McNeall, and Kimberly Ramacciotti.

The fall blood drive is scheduled for August 30, 2012 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm.
