Darr Family Foundation Awards Forest Institute and Operation Us $5,000 Grant
The Darr Family Foundation has awarded Forest Institute and The Friends of Operation Us (Grantee) a grant for $5,000 to continue efforts with The Hatching Project at Springfield-Greene County WIC. The Darr Family Foundation was created in 2002 to help those in need of direction and support for achieving life’s goals and ambitions. Their mission is to find and support organizations delivering effective services that assist individuals in reaching their potential, especially young persons and those from disadvantaged circumstances (darff.org).
Through the Murney Clinic, Forest Institute and The Friends of Operation Us work closely with the staff at WIC to provide relationship education to new and expecting parents. They are the proud recipients of this award and the opportunities it affords them to improve outcomes for children by helping their parents form and maintain safe, stable and satisfying relationships.
