The Center for Professional Solutions (CPS) at The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute has developed a reputation for providing excellence in continuing education for behavorial health and human services professionals. More recently, their program has expanded to address the needs of businesses, educators, attorneys, clergy, law enforcement and professionals in fields beyond psychology. A program coordinated with the Springfield Regional Arts Council offers additional opportunities for encouraging creativity and mental health utilizing the arts.
Fridays @ Forest, a weekly opportunity for continuing education, professional development and networking, is available as a "lunch and learn” program most Fridays of the year. Each Friday offers a variety of opportunities including programs for continuing education units (CEUs) on a mental-health related topics. Longer programs, half-day and full-day in length, are also offered on Fridays once or twice a month. Programs are offered at The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute located at 2885 W. Battlefield Road in Springfield.
CPS also provides customized, in-company training in a variety of areas to increase employee development and performance. Led by expert instructors from a variety of industries, CPS is able to provide training solutions that match your organizational needs.
