Quick Admit Day Registration and Application


Thank you for your interest in Forest Institute's Quick Admit Day!

Below you will be able to register for the event and apply for admission to Forest Institute. Please note the following items that you will be required to present when you come to our quick admit event.

  • Completed online registration and application (Below)
  • $10 application fee (Payable day of event by cash, check, credit/debit card)
  • All transcripts (Unofficial transcripts accepted for this event - must be received 24 hours before the event)
  • One professional recommendation letter from a faculty member or supervisor
  • Official GRE scores (MFT and MSABA applicants only)
  • Personal Essay
    • Through the personal essay much is learned about the candidate, including his/her interests, goals, character and if he/she is a good fit for the programs at Forest. Personal essays should range from two to four pages in length using 1" margins, double spacing, and preferably Times New Roman 12 pt. font. Essays should be tailored to the program for which admission is sought.
    • Essays must specifically address the following:
      • What personal knowledge, skills, attitudes, qualities, and life experiences do you possess that would make you a good mental health professional? Elaborate on which of these you will bring to your training at Forest Institute. Which do you hope to develop during your training at Forest Institute?
      • Discuss why you believe that you are "fitted for a future in being of service to the diverse human community" as a mental health professional.
      • Please tell us any additional information that you believe the Admissions Committee should know to assist in making their decision regarding your application.

Once you arrive:

  3. Interview with faculty member
  4. Receive admissions decision

**Disclaimer: Acceptance through a Quick Admit event into Forest Institute is provisional until official transcripts and two additional recommendations are received. Students accepted into the Marriage and Family Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis programs must also provide official scores from the GRE test prior to the Quick Admit event.
