Welcome! Whether you are a current student, alumni, or prospective student, Forest Institute welcomes you. At Forest institute of Professional Psychology, we are committed to providing you high quality education and training in order to prepare you for a variety of professional pursuits. Our academic curriculum is built upon a scholar-practitioner model, emphasizing diversity and core competencies in professional psychology. This curriculum provides students with breadth and depth in coursework, as well as small classes, leadership opportunities, mentoring relationships with faculty, and a variety of clinic and community-based practicum experiences. At the heart of our practicum training is a large community based clinic tailored towards delivering services to the poor and underserved.

At Forest, we are passionate about what we do and how we do it, which means we cultivate and promote a culture of continual improvement and a rich learning environment for all.

Whether your interests and passions lie in pursuing a private practice, working in a for-profit or non-profit healthcare institution, teaching, conducting research, working for the government, political action, or entrepreneurial pursuits, Forest Institute can provide you with a wealth of experiences to help you achieve your goals. We are dedicated to providing future psychologists a solid foundation, exposure to evidence-based practice in psychology, as well as opportunities for developing more specialized interests through our innovative and cutting-edge certificate programs.

There has never before been a more exciting time in psychology. Psychologists are actively pursuing prescription privileges in many states, making a convincing case for the integration of psychology into mainstream healthcare, and rapidly demonstrating empirically supported treatments for a variety of conditions. Whether or not you personally support these initiatives, you can take pride in being a part or becoming a part of a discipline that is relentlessly expanding, defining, and refining itself.

Forest Institute welcomes the opportunity to partner with you down this exciting path.
