Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
The Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology (MACP) at Forest Institute is a licensable degree that is offered in
a non-traditional format with classes held on evenings and weekends. The curriculum requires completion of 48 credit
hours of coursework, practicum, and a capstone project.
Students who commence the MACP program have the opportunity to focus on one class at a time and will complete
each class within four weeks. This format allows students to attend part time or full time, based upon their needs. Students who attend full time can complete the program in 18 months. The program is designed for students who would like to become Licensed Professional Counselors in the State of Missouri.
The faculty, staff, and administration of the program are focused on students and strive to provide the best possible student service and instruction. Instructors in the program are actively practicing professionals who bring their
everyday hands-on experience to the classroom.
