Forest Institute of Professional Psychology




	The Journal of Academy of Medical Psychology is a joint venture between the Academy of Medical Psychology (AMP) and the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology (FIPP). The contents of the Journal are the sole responsibility of the Academy of Medical Psychology. Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, its staff and students generously contribute to the publication of the Journal. The Journal of the Academy of Medical Psychology (JAMP) publishes original articles regarding medical psychology electronically. Articles are peer-reviewed by medical psychologists for relevancy and contribution to the field of medical psychology, as well as, interest to the readership. The focus of JAMP is on the practice of medical psychology. The online publishing read-only format was chosen to facilitate prompt transmission of information to practitioners for the benefit of their patients. Online publication is not subject to the same time and page limitations that occur in print media. Articles will be published upon peer-review and editorial approval rather than a time schedule. Articles will be collected annually and placed on a disk for purchase. Individual articles are available for a fee. Submissions by practitioners from other professions are welcome. Manuscripts are to be submitted in medical format of numerical listing of references for electronic readability and to encourage submissions from other professions.
